1) Privacy and security policy

 

1.1) When Confirming Your Booking: When booking your reservation with Travel Asia Online, our Payment Guarantee System ensures the safe use of your credit card for travel transactions.

 

1.2) The Latest Encryption Security and Technology : Our secure online information form uses the latest encryption technology Secure Socket Layer (SSL), which means that all of the information you enter is sent to our secure server and can only be read by our Customer Reservation Department.

 

 

2) Travel Asia Online’s Confidentiality and Privacy

 

We take confidentiality and privacy very seriously and we will not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, license, sell or redistribute any of your personal profile information

 

 

3) Cancellation policy

 

3.1) Cancellation Policy : Our Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings unless the hotel you have booked with has different terms and conditions to those stated below. Any policies dictated by the hotel will always take precedent over the policy stated here. We will of course inform you clearly if this is the case with your booking.

 

If you wish to cancel your booking please advise us as early as possible. For 1 night stays only, if a one night cancellation fee is applied, no additional administration fee will be charged.

 

Cancellation period

 

Cancellation charges which will be applied to you

 

• + 14 Days prior to arrival

10 percent administration fee of your total booking cost with a minimum of US$35.

 

• 13-7 Days prior to arrival

10 percent administration fee of your total booking cost plus one night cancellation fee

 

3.2) No Show Policy : If you do not show up at the hotel on your arrival date and have failed to inform us that you wish to cancel your booking, this is classed as a No Show. In this case, full charge of your total booking cost will be applied.

 

3.3) Extension of Stay : If, after your arrival, you wish to extend your stay at the same or different hotel, please contact our local office so that you are not charged the full room rate from the hotel.

How to cancel your reservation?

 

If you would like to cancel your reservation then please send an email to us at reservations@travel-asia-online.com or send us a fax. Please clearly indicate your name, email address and your reservation ID number. Your cancellation is only valid if you have received a reply back from us. In case you do not receive one then please contact us immediately.

 

Rates:

Rates advertised on this website are only available from Travel Asia Online and it's related online brands and are not available from the hotel directly. Room Rates displayed are based on a standard booking request (single or double) and may be subject to change pending your requirements. Room Rates are per room/night INCLUSIVE SERVICE CHARGE AND GOVERNMENT TAX. Rates are quoted in the currency shown.

Payments:

In order for us to process your booking request your credit card details are required. For your convenience, Travel Asia Online offers secure credit card payments online.You may also submit your credit details by fax. We welcome VISA, Master Card, JCB and AMEX. Please note that AMEX at times charges the card holder an additional fee for currency conversions. Travel Asia Online will not be responsible for any changes in rates or any other charges that may occur during the credit card billing process.

Once room availability has been confirmed Travel Asia Online will charge your credit card for the amount indicated during your booking process. In case of special room requests such as extra beds or transfers our Reservation Staff will contact you back by email with an updated quote prior to charging your credit card.

YOUR CREDIT CARD WILL ONLY BE CHARGED ONCE AVAILABILITY HAS BEEN CONFIRMED, that is once your BOOKING RECEIPT has been emailed to the email address provided during your booking process.

Your credit card statement will show the debit entry as Travel Asia Online.


Alternative Hotel Selection:

At times Travel Asia Online may not be able to provide the hotel of your choice. In such case our Customer Service Agents will suggest Alternative Hotels matching your criteria of price and location.

Check In:

The BOOKING RECEIPT must be presented upon check-in at the hotel.

Amendments:

You may amend your booking request at any time during the booking process. Amendments to your booking request can be submitted by email or contacting our Customer Service Agents.

Once your booking is completed, that is we have send your BOOKING RECEIPT to the email address provided during your booking process, amendments may be treated as late cancellation. Please also check our Cancellation Conditions.

Extension of Stay:

In case you would like to extend your stay with the hotel you initially booked with through Travel Asia Online, you must contact our Customer Service Center. Please note that any Extensions of Stay arranged directly with the hotel are not covered by Travel Asia Online.

Early Check Outs:

If you should need to shorten your stay, we will refund your credit card for the unused room nights UNLESS NOTIFIED OTHERWISE by email. Please be advised that you must cancel the unwanted room nights with us, as well as the hotel, or you will not receive your refund, if applicable.

Cancellation of Booking:

Once your booking is completed, that is we have send your BOOKING RECEIPT to the email address provided during your booking process, our Cancellation Policy applies.

No Show (failure to check in at the hotel):

Failure to check in at your hotel as per the check in date stated in your BOOKING RECEIPT will be treated as a late cancellation.

Refunds:
Travel Asia Online is committed to provide an efficient refund procedure. Refunds will be made in the form of a credit refund. I.e. we will credit the amount charged, minus cancellation fees (if applicable), back to your credit card. Once the refund instructions have been issued to our Merchant Bank, it can take anywhere from 15-45 working days for the proceeds to show in your account.

Requests for refunds will have to be submitted at least 2 (TWO) weeks after the check out date. Refund requests received later than 14 (FOURTEEN) days cannot be honored.
